North Battle Hard but Fall 4–0 to Dromore

As the temperatures drop, North Down are back again, stepping onto the Ferris Park pitches with high spirits. The match started with an immediate fierce atmosphere.

Bouncing off each other’s energy Caitlin Taylor and Megan Murray  drove us towards the goal mouth with the prospect of success potentially looming. Unfortunately this was quickly turned around and North Down were quickly faced with a short corner in favour of Dromore. However, with great composure, the ball found its way out of the circle with Rachael Murphy protecting the shot towards the left post. Determined to keep the intensity high, North Down finished quarter 1 with an even score line of 0-0. 

Throughout quarter 2 North Down continued to produce triumphant efforts, but with a loss of concentration and confusion Dromore found themselves 1-0 up. The game continued with desire. North Down struggled to get it out of their defensive half and towards goal. With an unlucky short corner and 2 quick fire goals with minutes to go, Dromore celebrated their 4-0 victory.
