Ton for Shannon at last!
He has waited since the middle of September but Mark Shannon’s big moment came on Saturday against Garvey fifths when he became only the 22nd player in North Down’s history to hit 100 goals. Well done Mark – but you’re still 29 behind Andy and he’s picking up pace again!!
Night at the Races – 7 February
Tickets for the evening at La Mon Hotel & Country Club are £20. This includes a hot fork buffet, Night at the Races and a disco party afterwards. During the ‘Races’ there will be 8 races each with 8 horses which can be bought and named for £5 with a prize for each winning owner….

For Monday 18 th August training times are as follows: Ladies 7.00-8.30 Men 8.30-10.00 Thereafter the schedule will revert to the normal times i.e Ladies Mondays 7.00-8.30 Wednesdays 7.00-8.30 Men Mondays 8.00-9.30 Wednaesdays 8.30-10-00 Club training for all members begins on Wednesday 20 August
It’s festival time again
The festival of fun known as the North Down Easter Tournament (founded 1981) kicks off again on Saturday morning at Comber Leisure Centre. Alan McMaster has asked that all teams be there for 9.45 am at the latest so that he can complete the registration processes and the first games will get underway immediately afterwards….
CPR and Defibrillator Training
The Comber Regeneration Committee are having a training session on 15 October at 12.00 pm on CPR and defibrillator use. The session will be at the Comber Community Hall at Park Way (adjacent to the old shale hockey pitch). There is room for a limited number of our members. If interested, contact Ross Linter asap…
