He has waited since the middle of September but Mark Shannon’s big moment came on Saturday against Garvey fifths when he became only the 22nd player in North Down’s history to hit 100 goals. Well done Mark – but you’re still 29 behind Andy and he’s picking up pace again!!  

James has just completed his second season at our Club, but let him tell you all about it! When and where did you first play hockey? I started playing hockey at Regent House in year 8. I initially fancied myself as a rugby player, however D Robb recommended I was more physically suited for hockey….
