Death of Jacqui Johnston

The club is sadden to hear of the loss of Jacqui Johnston. Jacqui Johnston who is the wife of one of our Vice Presidents, Norman Johnston died this morning after a short illness. Norman played for Saintfield before joining and playing for North Down many years ago. He has been a lifetime supporter of our club and makes an annual donation as well as supporting every fundraising initiative he is aware of. His son, Martin plays for Saintfield. Martin would sometimes play in the annual Boxing Day fixture for the cricket club. Norman’s brother, Rab is also one of our vice presidents.

Our thoughts are with Norman and his family at this very difficult time.
