Thanks to all who supported our big fundraising event last Friday, those who sponsored holes, races, bought horses, came along and played and bet hard earned cash on the races.  Also thanks to Karen and Tom who put many hours into arranging everything. Main prize winners in the golf were Men’s 1st – Michael Lawson….

Frozen pitches have again decimated our Saturday fixtures. The only game which remains ON at the moment is the ladies 5th XI Minor Plate match against Civil Service 4th XI at Stormont at 1.00 pm on the sand based pitch.

It’s the first round of the Irish Trophy this Saturday and it sees the ladies travel to The Maws, home of North Kildare, and the men host Newry who will hope to overcome their disappointment at having last week’s Premier League fixture postponed due to their several last minute Covid diagnoses. There’s a home game…

Another milestone reached as Stevie Magee with his hat trick on Saturday becomes only the third North Down player to reach the 250 goals mark. Well done Stevie!
