By Jim Patterson The 5th XI game against Bangor 5ths on Saturday has been cancelled as Bangor are unable to field a team. However, the pitch at Nendrum College remains booked for 1.00 pm and a session for all 3rd XI and 5th XI ‘non combatants’ this Saturday may be arranged. Players will be contacted.

Pitches home and away are frozen and most ladies’ and men’s games are OFF.  The only game still ON at the moment is the mens 4ths V Antrim 3rds at Regent HS at 2.30 pm which is a Junior League 5 league cup semi final.  All home support welcome!  

North Down, supported by Ards Borough Council, will be holding two weeks of summer schemes – one in July and one in August at Comber Leisure Centre. We have learnt with sadness of the death after a long illness of John McDonough who is most associated with Belfast Harlequins.  John was well known to all of the older members of our Club and even played for us briefly in the early 70s before moving on to Bangor.  We extend our deepest sympathies…
