Admission to the New Years Eve Party will be strictly by ticket only as numbers are limited to 120. Tickets will be on sale from 4.00 pm on 28 December from Mark Linter, Peter Bond or from behind the bar at North Down Cricket Club. Strictly 18 and over, proper ID will be required. Valid ticket + fake ID = no entry.

Games off today. Mens 5ths V Annadale 5ths. Mens 6ths V Harlequins 4ths. Ladies 5ths V Donaghadee 2nds. Meanwhile last night there were two good mens’ results. The seconds drew 3-3 away to Cookstown seconds and the thirds beat South Antrim 3rds 2-1 at Comber Leisure Centre.

We are saddened to learn today of the death in Canada of Jim Boyd. Jim was our first choice goalkeeper on a number of trophy winning teams from the mid 90s until he emigrated to Canada in the early 2000s. We understand that he had been suffering from pancreatic cancer. The Club would like to…
A Safeguarding Young People in Sport course was held jointly for members of North Down Hockey and Cricket Clubs last night at The Green. Everyone who attended is now covered for another three years. Thanks to Clare Smith for setting up the course and also Michelle from Ulster Hockey who presented.
