The Ulster Ladies O45s veteran team featuring, in fact starring, Julie Fisher won their Inter Pro Masters series at the weekend in their tournament played at Cork C of I. They drew twice with a strong Munster team but beat Leinster twice, 2-0 and 4-0, to secure their title. Julie managed to get on the scoresheet…
Games off today. Mens 5ths V Annadale 5ths. Mens 6ths V Harlequins 4ths. Ladies 5ths V Donaghadee 2nds. Meanwhile last night there were two good mens’ results. The seconds drew 3-3 away to Cookstown seconds and the thirds beat South Antrim 3rds 2-1 at Comber Leisure Centre.
Common sense has prevailed! The venue for the Irish Trophy Final on 7 May against Queens has been changed to Havelock Park in Banbridge. Time yet to be confirmed. We are still intending to run a supporters bus. Watch this or other social media spaces for further details!!
The floodlights at Comber Leisure Centre have been repaired sufficiently for training on Wednesday night as normal unless there’s a light rain shower!
North Down, in partnership with Ards Borough Council, will be running hockey summer schemes during July and August at Comber leisure Centre.
