Ladies first eleven game off

There will be no junior men’s training on Wednesday as the ladies 1st XI have a league game against Armagh.  They are looking for some support so why not come down at 7.30 pm – Comber Leisure Centre.

It was great to be back at The Green for our Annual Table Quiz.  Defending champions Adgey, Willis et al were unable to keep their title which was taken over by the triumvirate of Bond, McKee and Graham. There were no winners really, the only winner was ‘The Advancement of General Knowledge’!!

Our annual Boxing Day charity clash once again delivered exactly what everyone expected: chaos, craic, and charitable heroics in equal measure. North Down Hockey Club and North Down Cricket Club renewed their festive rivalry at The Green, raising funds and spirits in support of Marie Curie, with the scoreboard reading a very generous Marie Curie…

All at North Down are saddened to hear of the death on Wednesday of our Chairman Chris Revill’s mother Doreen.  Doreen was well known and popular with all of the team members from North Down tours to the Oldham area in the 1980s where she was landlady with her late husband Chris at The Carrion…
