Hockey Rivals Come Together to Honour Brian Davis and Support Marie Curie

On Wednesday 10th September, North Down Hockey clubs Men’s 1s hosted Bangor 1s in the annual Brian Davis Memorial Game. It was a close contest, with Bangor edging it 1-0.

A huge thank you to all the supporters from both sides who came out to support.

Before the game, both teams proudly presented a cheque for £750 to Marie Curie, raised at last year’s match. Pictured with the teams is Brian’s wife, Rosemary, who remains at the heart of this event, alongside Bangor Men’s captain Ryan Lyall, North Down Men’s captain Josh Gilmore, North Down Club Chairman Sam Pyper and a Marie Curie representative.

A fantastic night of hockey in memory of Brian, and for a great cause.
