Hils the hat trick hero!

A lacklustre start by North Down fourths against Lurgan thirds at Regent House last Saturday saw the visitors score quickly from two corners and were soon 2-0 up. The match became feisty and a number of North Down players were on the receiving end of some dodgy tackles.

North Down eventually found their feet, gradually got back into the match and then scored four times without reply.  Twenty four hours earlier she had been a bride but Lynsey Scott (nee Stevenson) cast aside the bouquets to play a lead role in the revival setting up Hilary West for a hat-trick with the fourth coming from young Abby McCague for a very satisfactory victory.
