Fifths fight for a point

North Down fifths entertained Pegasus fourths in a Friday night fixture at Regent House, a game that started at a fast pace and continued throughout the whole match.

The midfield of Julie Fisher, Kathy Taylor and Emma McIlwaine never stopped working hard to get passes through to the North Down front but who were unable to penetrate the experienced Pegasus defence. Similarly, the North Down defence were kept on their toes by extra fast counter attacks from Pegasus but the defence with Karen Jackson, Kathryn Rogers and Rebecca Nield to the fore kept the Pegasus forwards out.  As the last line of defence North Down were very thankful to have Helena Press in goals to keep a clean sheet.
