Night at the Races – 7 February
Tickets for the evening at La Mon Hotel & Country Club are £20. This includes a hot fork buffet, Night at the Races and a disco party afterwards.
During the ‘Races’ there will be 8 races each with 8 horses which can be bought and named for £5 with a prize for each winning owner. At today’s date there are 28 horses remaining which must be sold before the night.
There will be an ‘in house’ bookie on the night with a minimum bet of £1. Winners are paid out straight after each race.
To get tickets and buy and name your horse, contact Karen Jackson on 07851651420, by email to kjack1911@gmail.com or on her Facebook page or at hockey on Wednesdays or Saturdays. Alternatively, you can also pay Peter Bond (Hon Treas.) or any General Committee member, remember to name your horse.
To allow time for planning etc we need numbers and ticket money in for Monday 26th January 2015.
Please mention to friends and family. Remember, the more the merrier. The bigger the crowd, the better the fun!
Some members have shown interest in getting a table together with work colleagues etc and this takes the pressure off Club members (and parents) to be continually supporting the Club. The tables will be based on 10 people per table, 12 at a push.
La Mon can offer discounted bedroom rates for anyone looking to stay over at £65.00 bed and breakfast for single occupancy and £80.00 for double or twin occupancy. This also includes use of the spa facilities.
