Hils on the mark again in Plate win!

North Down ladies fourths were victorious in the first round of the Junior Plate against Civil service thirds at Stormont last Saturday winning 2-0.

Against a fiesty and strong running Civil Service side who play in the league below, the North Down girls fought hard intercepting the opposition’s play and eliminating all threats.

Hilary West followed up her match winning performance last week with another brace of goals from two well planned short corners and goes to the top of the ladies score chart.

This was a fine disciplined performance from the Comber girls who are also doing well to maintain a mid table league position this season.
