The ladies fourths game today with Cookstown seconds scheduled for 2.00 pm at Nendrum College has been cancelled as Cookstown have conceded.

Our first Last Man Standing competition of the season will start with the English Premiership games on 22/23/24 November. Entry £10, usual rules apply. Contact Laura Clarke or Gareth McBride with your first selection.

Games off today.  Mens 5ths V Annadale 5ths.  Mens 6ths V Harlequins 4ths. Ladies 5ths V Donaghadee 2nds.  Meanwhile last night there were two good mens’ results.  The seconds drew 3-3 away to Cookstown seconds and the thirds beat South Antrim 3rds 2-1 at Comber Leisure Centre.

North Down men have entered 6 teams in Ulster Hockey Leagues this season. In order for each team to fulfil its fixtures 6 goalkeepers are required. Official pre season fitness training started at The Green on Monday night.  There will be further sessions on Wednesday 30 July at 7.30 pm and Monday 4 August at 8.00 pm before taking to the astro at Comber Leisure Centre on Wednesday 6 August.
