Under 11/13 Boys Blitz Day

Congratulations to 17 of our Boys and Girls who completed their Young Leaders Course. As well as attending the course organised by Ulster Hockey, they also volunteered with coaching and umpiring our Youth Section . . . well done all ! Those missing from the photo are Jack Irwin, Patrick Campbell, Abby McCague and Leona Clifford.

Over 30 kids enjoyed the good weather in week one of our annual summer schemes and more fun is expected in week two which runs from 5 – 9 August – some places are still available.  Good luck to our lead coach this week, Peter McKibbin, who has been called up to the Ireland squad…

We had two Under 11 Boys teams at Lisnagarvey earlier today, Garvey hosting a Blitz Day. For some it was their first taste of competitive matches. Great hockey and an enjoyable day all round. Well done to all the boys and a big thank you to the coaches and parents !
