Safeguarding Course
A Safeguarding Young People in Sport course was held jointly for members of North Down Hockey and Cricket Clubs last night at The Green. Everyone who attended is now covered for another three years. Thanks to Clare Smith for setting up the course and also Michelle from Ulster Hockey who presented.
CPR and Defibrillator Training
The Comber Regeneration Committee are having a training session on 15 October at 12.00 pm on CPR and defibrillator use. The mens first eleven game at Raphoe and the mens thirds game at Antrim were both abandoned today due to pitch flooding.
Easter Tournament winners – Blood, Sweat and Beers
Another enjoyable Easter Tournament last Saturday! Thanks to the visiting teams from Armagh and Bangor who made the trip on a very cold day. Winners were Blood, Sweat and Beers who defeated tournament favourites Linter Milan in a tight semi final before cruising to an easy final win. The Plate winners were the Jimmy Wabbers….
