League Action Tonight in Comber

The festival of fun known as the North Down Easter Tournament (founded 1981) kicks off again on Saturday morning at Comber Leisure Centre.  Alan McMaster has asked that all teams be there for 9.45 am at the latest so that he can complete the registration processes and the first games will get underway immediately afterwards….

Congratulations to Paul Revill who saw off Michael Orr and Clive Pimlott at the 4th hurdle to scoop the £220 prize fund in our second LMS comp of the ‘season’.  Thanks to all who took part.  Paul is looking forward to the party in 2023!

The men’s first eleven game at Comber Leisure Centre against Raphoe on Saturday has been postponed due to the death of Richard Eaton from the Raphoe club.  Richard was a long time friend of North Down’s and we always looked forward to seeing him either in Comber or up at Raphoe.  We extend our sympathies…
