North Down Members Earn International Masters Selection
North Down Hockey Club is proud to be represented on the international stage this summer, with eight playing and coaching members selected across Ireland, England and the Alliance squads for the 2026 Masters World Hockey Championships and Over-70 international event.
The Over-35 to Over-50 championships are taking place in the Rotterdam region of the Netherlands from 22 July to 1 August, while the Over-55 and Over-60 tournaments will be held in Brasschaat, Belgium, from 6 to 16 August.
Representing North Down Hockey Club are:
- Matthew Bruce – Coach, Ireland Over-40s
- Gareth Bailie – Ireland Over-35s
- Gareth McKeown – Ireland Over-40s
- Stephen Boyd – Ireland Over-40s
- Emma Bradshaw – Alliance Over-45s
- Stephen Magee – Ireland Over-55s
- Richard Wesencroft – England Over-55s
- Billy Pollock – Ireland Over-70s
Emma Bradshaw has been selected for the Alliance Over-45s squad, who are also competing at this year’s Masters World Hockey Championships, adding to North Down’s strong representation across the tournament.
