Unlike with our local pantomime politicians where deadlines come and go and get stretched to infinity, our very own deadline for subscriptions has crept, apparently unnoticed by some, right up to us. It’s 31 October (2018 not 2019) and that’s it – no pay no play!

The goal scoring feats of Jenna Hoey and Tom Myles during January were recognised with the January Players of the Month Awards presented by Johnny Burch. Well done both!!
The two undefeated teams in the group meet tonight at Comber Leisure Centre at 7.30 pm when North Down, having overcome Ulster Hockey’s obstacles, host Banbridge. Club training has been cancelled to allow as many to come and support the team. See you there!
Condolences to past Chairman and current Vice President Ray Browne and family on the passing of his beloved mother, Jean. Our thoughts are with you all at this time from your hockey family at NDHC. The funeral service will take place at St Mary’s Parish Church, Comber, on Wednesday 6th May at 2:30pm.
Ladies and men’s training resumes on Monday 12 September at the normal times. This includes the under 13 girls coaching at Regent House school.
