Boxing Day Charity Game

The hockey club gained some revenge for a number of recent Boxing Day defeats by the cricket club with a 5-1 win today at Comber Leisure Centre. There was little sign of over indulgence in the festive season as the game was played at a fast pace throughout despite increasingly woeful weather conditions. As usual, charity was the winner as the receipts for the day go to the winning team’s chosen charity.
