Thank you, Jimmy!
At our annual awards dinner on Saturday night, longstanding club member Jim Patterson was presented with a special award in honour of his 52 years with North Down Hockey Club.
Jimmy joined NDHC as a teenager before moving to Annadale, where he was a founding member. He later returned to NDHC, playing most of his hockey with the 2nd XI, and still turns out for the annual Easter Tournament. He also regularly umpires junior matches.
Over the decades, Jimmy has served the club in countless ways – acting as both secretary and treasurer, maintaining our social media and website, serving as chief statistician and researching and writing the club’s centenary book. He continues to support fundraising events and has contributed to the club in some capacity for an incredible 52 years.
A true club legend – thank you, Jimmy!
