North Down Hockey Club Youth Section Temporarily Closed to New Members

In a move aimed at ensuring the highest quality of coaching and participation, North Down Hockey Club has announced that its youth section will be temporarily closed to new members for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. This decision reflects the Club’s commitment to maintaining an optimal coaching environment for its current players.

The youth section has seen remarkable growth over the past few years, attracting young talent eager to develop their skills and passion for the sport. With a dedicated coaching staff and a focus on fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, the Club has become a cornerstone of youth hockey in the region.

However, to provide the best possible experience, the club recognises the importance of managing group sizes and maintaining a balanced ratio of players to coaches.

Current members are encouraged to continue their practice and participation, as the Club remains committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment. The youth section looks forward to reopening its doors to new players in the future, promising an exciting journey in hockey for all.
