Brian Davis Memorial game and other friendlies

There’s a number of pre season friendlies this Saturday as we get ready to start league fixtures a week later on 26 September.  Top of the bill is the annual Brian Davis memorial game against Bangor at Comber Leisure Centre at 2.30 pm.

Brian played and coached at North Down and also had a spell coaching at Bangor and is still missed at both clubs.  All proceeds from the game will go towards the Marie Curie cancer charity and there will be a cheque presentation beforehand which represents funds raised at last years game, our annual Boxing Day fixture with the Cricket Club and profits from the sale of the neck buffs in June.  Thanks to all who contributed to these efforts and we will have the begging bowl out again on Saturday!  Spectators should register on our Covid app, link available on Saturday morning on the Facebook page, or sign in on the register at the entry gates. Please allow for social distancing whilst attending the games.
