The second half was more even and the post was rattled at least 3 times.\u00a0 Phil Dorian pulled one back for the Cricket Club with a tap in on the line but a fourth goal late on sealed the Hockey Club&#8217;s win.<\/p>\n<p>Crucial moments in the game were debated afterwards in the Clubhouse\u00a0where the winners&#8217; and losers&#8217; prizes were given out and the ballot was won as normal by Norman Johnston.\u00a0 The tradition is that the winning captain chooses which charity should benefit from the cash raised and Mark choose the Marie Curie cancer fund.<\/p>\n<p>Well done to all concerned!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a3320 was raised by those taking part in the annual Boxing Day game between North Down Hockey and Cricket Clubs yesterday &#8211; an excellent result for all and thanks in particular to the two captains, Mark Linter and Ryan Galway for organising the two teams.Final short corner on full time.
