When and where did you first play hockey?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Regent House, I started as a right back but was apparently \u2018too fast\u2019 for that position so got fired up front.<\/p>\n

Nope, North Down through & through.<\/p>\n

How long have you been at North Down?<\/strong><\/p>\n

14-15 years I think, although I missed a year in there somewhere through broken bones.<\/p>\n

Do you have any personal ambitions in hockey?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not really to be honest, I\u2019m 32 now so I guess just try and continue playing at a high level for a couple more years and also try to hit that 200 goal mark.<\/p>\n

What has been your best moment at North Down?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The season I came back from injury and we won the league & cup double for the thirds was a hell of a year.<\/p>\n

Who has been your favourite player to play with at North Down and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Me, Gilly & Mark Shannon up front for the seconds, what a time to be alive.<\/p>\n

What is your least favourite team to play against?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have a burning hatred for ****, like most normal people I think.\u00a0 Can everyone guess \u2013 it\u2019s an abbreviation!<\/p>\n

Who in your North Down team would you want, and who not, on your quiz team?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jamie Orr for both. The boy knows his Dingbats and even baked a banoffee for the last quiz, but on the same hand it\u2019s Jamie.<\/p>\n

Do you follow a particular football team?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since I basically played in a Spurs kit for over a decade instead of regulation North Down gear, most people should know this.<\/p>\n

What other sports are you interested in and do you play any other sports?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I used to skateboard a lot, but I\u2019m getting a bit brittle for that now. Football, tennis, golf, I\u2019ll have a go at anything and pretty much watch any sport that\u2019s on.<\/p>\n

What is your favourite personal sporting moment and a favourite all time sporting one?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a Spurs fan I don\u2019t have a lot of all time sporting moments, but I haven\u2019t lost my sh*t like I did when Lucas scored that 94th<\/sup> minute winner against Ajax in a long time.<\/p>\n

What is the best holiday you have ever had?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My honeymoon to Cape Verde Islands 4 years ago was the most relaxed I\u2019ve probably ever been. I was away last May to a villa in Albufeira with all my best mates and their wives\/girlfriends\/kids which was also brilliant.<\/p>\n

Where is your ideal holiday location?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anywhere I can lie in the sun and do absolutely nothing sounds good to me.<\/p>\n

What type of music do you like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mostly rock, punk, indie, metal. I don\u2019t get the playlists on many hockey trips, let\u2019s put it that way.<\/p>\n

What is your favourite TV programme?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Same as Ross Blair here \u2013 Always Sunny in Philadelphia is hard to top. Shoutouts to The Office (US), Rick & Morty and the guilty pleasure Friday Night Lights as well.<\/p>\n

What is your favourite movie?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ace Ventura 2 \u2013 don\u2019t @ me.<\/p>\n

Have you a favourite book you have read again?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t read unless I have to, movies with subtitles are even a push to be honest.<\/p>\n

What is your favourite food and drink?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t function at all without coffee. Pizza is probably my favourite food, but I\u2019m missing a lot of good food due to this lockdown \u2013 what I would give for a Haptik lunch right now\u2026<\/p>\n

Full cream, semi-skimmed or skimmed milk?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Semi-skimmed as I\u2019m not a sociopath.<\/p>\n

If you could invite four people, living or dead, to a dinner party who would they be?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 4 dogs I\u2019ve had in my life \u2013 Patch, Juno, Willow & Harvey. Dogs are the best.<\/p>\n

What have you been doing to stay fit during the coronavirus break?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been trying to do a few 5ks a week. I had aimed to run 100k in April but as it\u2019s now the 22nd<\/sup> and I\u2019m only on 60k I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll make it.<\/p>\n
