DESCRIPTION:This is an event for the members and friends of North Down.  We have been given exclusive use of the Georgian House in The Square in Comber meeting at the restaurant at 7.00 pm.  Financial details of this deal are too sensitive to appear on our public website but it’s a great and generous deal for our Club.  Tickets are £25\, it’s the night before a Bank Holiday\, it’s also the evening of the Cricket Club’s Beer and Cider Festival which may or not be a good thing!  Numbers are limited and you should contact Peter Bond early. \nFor all those who have confirmed to Peter Bond\, and only those\, that they are attending there will be a special ‘one of’ competition\, free to enter\, for a bottle of wine on the night at the Georgian House.  Believe me\, you won’t have seen a competition like this before.  It will be done on the Facebook site and will be publicised in advance so that the quick fingered and equally quick witted among you all will have an equal chance.  I’m expecting that it will be won in the first 5 minutes.  Stand by.

DESCRIPTION:Tickets for the evening at La Mon Hotel & Country Club are £20.  This includes a hot fork buffet\, Night at the Races and a disco party afterwards. Dress code is ‘smart casual’. \nDuring the ‘Races’ there will be 8 races each with 8 horses and all of the ‘advance sale’ horses have now been sold.  All of the horses in the last race of the night will be auctioned immediately before the race so there is one last chance for you to become an owner (or a multiple owner)! \nThere will be an ‘in house’ bookie on the night with a minimum bet of £1.
