Billy Johnston

We have learnt today with sadness of the death of Billy Johnston, father of our good friend Paul, brother to two of our Vice Presidents Robert and Norman and of course grandad to Josh Gilmore.  After a long association with Saintfield Hockey Club Billy joined North Down and played for many years on the thirds, fourths and fifths.  All at North Down send their condolences to Paul and all of the family.  Billy’s funeral will be this Friday 22nd at 10.00 am at the Iron Hall, Templemore Avenue, Belfast and afterwards to Comber Cemetery on the Newtownards Road, Comber.
