North Down help Saintfield celebrate their Centenary

A North Down select team helped Saintfield celebrate their Centenary with a repeat of their first ever game against North Down in 1921, and no, we don’t know what the score was.  Today it was 5-2 in favour of the visitors who surrendered a two goal lead only to score three more late on.  Goals from Harry Templeton (2), Andrew Welsh (2) and Stephen Magee.

Good luck to Saintfield in their celebrations and hopefully their excellent facilities will encourage the growth of hockey in the town!
