North Down just hang on in Brian Davis Memorial fixture

The mens first eleven recorded a narrow 4-3 victory over neighbours Bangor on Saturday at Comber Leisure Centre in the Annual Brian Davis Memorial game.

Before the game there was a presentation to the Marie Curie cancer charity representing some of the proceeds of our charity events in the past season including the Boxing Day game against the cricket club and the profits from the sale of the neck buffs.

Over £500 was collected again on Saturday to start off the charity fund for this season and some more is expected to roll in.

Thanks to all in Bangor Hockey Club, North Down Cricket Club and of course our own members and friends who generously supported these events.
